e-learning challenge #272 – Using Tabs Interactions in E-Learning

The challenge

In this week e-learning challenge we were asked to share a fresh example that demonstrates how tabs interactions can group related content into meaningful sections in e-learning courses.

There were two options to choose from. Basic tab interactions or advanced interactions. As an experienced user of Articulate 360 I went for the advanced version and let me inspired by the ADDIE model.

My submission

The ADDIE model is a visual Instructional Systems Design (ISD) model that exists of 5 parts which shows the whole instructional design process from analyzing to evaluation.

To use the model in Storyline I designed a wheel with Affinity Designer insert the image in Storyline and add several  spin animations to the wheel. These animations will turn the wheel to the part of your choice and it gives you the possibility to move back and forward.

If you are looking for more information about the ADDIE model feel free to follow this link.

Used software

The software I’ve used for my submission were;

  • Articulate 360 (Storyline)
  • Affinity Designer (illustrations)
